Global Warming

The earth atmosphere has changed in the last few decades, which has created
many problems. The gravest problem is the rising sea level and global warming.
In fact, the main problem is global warming which in turn is the cause of
rising sea level. Group of scientists and geophysicist form all over the world
are trying to figure out the ways to prevent this problem which could result
in catastrophe in future.

Sea level has been changed over the last decades, which is a devastating problem.
The question is why it is so? Frank House go, a geophysics professor happens to
find the answer. He is the lead author of the paper and this answer has also
influenced the debate on climate change.

It has been discovered by the House go and his colleague that different locations
have different melting rate, which is the main cause of the variations in the
global sea level. For example, the melting from that of Antarctic will have its
own unique pattern while melting from that of Greenland will have it own effect
on the sea level.

House go with the help of Tom Kane, a post-doctoral fellow and second author on
the paper, Gary Rink of the University of Durham and Robert Dyson of the Harvard-
Smithson Center for Astrophysics, conducted this investigation.

The main cause of rising sea level is due to melting of glaciers. And according
to the report of International Panel on Climate Change, if the glacier ice kept
on melting, world’s ocean level will rise by 7 to23 inches by 2100.

And the thing which is responsible for all this is global warming. But in the
recent years, melting of ice sheets has become faster; no one can explain why
that is the case and it surely cannot be fully explained by rising temperature
of the world.

Sea level is rising due to global warming and global warming is caused by defect
in ozone layer. Ozone layer is getting thinner and thinner. Now the question that
rises is how we can prevent global warming, which will lead to the prevention of
rising sea level?

First of all toxic fumes being emitted by cars is the major cause of global
warming, secondly gas being emitted by the use of perfumes. We should try every
possible mean to control global warming. Problem is that people are not taking
this matter as serious as it is. General aware among the masses should be given.

Reversing atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations is another solution but it
will take next fifty years when we will be able to use this technology on large
scale. Besides this there seem to be no other alternative.

In the coming year’s world will go through a big catastrophe if this problem is
not controlled in time and for that we need to prepare ourselves for an ugly
surprise. Sea level is rising much faster than the prediction of IPCC. The effects
of rising level have already started and government should prepare itself for
the rises much higher than they are now by the year 2100.
